Jan 21, 2008 · The tv does not support HDCP, unlikely but you could check this out with Sharp. The cables are defective, you could try other cables or try the same cables on another setup that you know works, you could do this round at a friends house if you have no other HDMI equipment. The HDMI card in either the tv or the tv is defective.

Nov 14, 2022 · Apple AirPlay does not work on the TV that is why I am using a HDMI cable. The TV does not see the Mac anymore, the screen remains black. Before Ventura, the screen of the MacBook and the screen of the TV would go black for a second and then both screens would appear, like a switching second. The switch does not appear anymore.
